"Lane Regional Air Protection Agency (LRAPA) - The local agency formed through an intergovernmental agreement between Lane County and the cities of Eugene, Springfield, Cottage Grove, and Oakridge. Official Mission
"To protect public health, community well-being and the environment as a leader and advocate for the improvement and maintenance of air quality in Lane County.
"LRAPA believes that public education is an integral part of any program if lasting behavioral changes to reduce air pollution are to occur. The Public Affairs section implements the public education program for the agency, which has been designed to match priorities established through a strategic planning process adopted by the LRAPA Board of Directors." — [1]
