Announcements:

  • Board member vacancies to be filled: Treasurer and Newsletter Editor
  • Owl Road report by Kevin. Cottonwood tree is being removed, leaving a snag. Trench work being done by EWEB. Firs being cut down.

Picnic Discussion

  • September 12, 4:30 - 7 potluck
  • Kevin will send out either a newsletter or postcard
  • Music?

  • Invite neighborhood groups - Kevin
  • Invite Tamarack - Carla
  • Sandy will bring information from healthcare

Report from Lisa on Eugene Planning Commission

  • Continue to discuss Envision Eugene
  • Should be looking more into the future, what do we want for Eugene 20 years from now?

Sandy would like traffic calming on E 36th - will send an email

Carla will contact Cindy Clark regarding advertising our meetings.

It was decided to continue meeting at Tamarack Wellness Center for our board meetings. We will check into the possibility of having general meeting there as well. Carla will contact Tamarack to verify.
